ABOUT THRANI TEAM

THRANI center for crisis control is the Mental Health and HIV/AIDS prevention division of FIRM (Foundation for Integrated Research In Mental Health), a Non-profit, Voluntary Organization. THRANI center is situated at the heart of the city of Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala State (southern most state of India).

Thrani team is a group of dedicated health professionals - including psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, physicians, counselors and social workers - who have the expertise and involved in the fields of HIV/AIDS/STI Prevention, Crisis/Stress Management, Mental Health and Suicide Prevention, for the last several years.

The team reflect the disciplines of community, clinical, health, social, and quantitative psychology; general medicine, public health and epidemiology; psychiatry, infectious diseases, and community medicine; bio-statistics and allied fields. The team is backed up by a group of efficient researchers from the University of Kerala.
